The Library says we took out a book called Guji Guji. It's a children's book. They say we never returned it. I flipped through a copy online and I've never seen this book before in my life. I've searched high and low and this book does not exist...at least in my household. However, the records say we took it out and I will purchase a new copy

Gaaaah - they send the police?

Not that I blame them in any way - but I've never heard of such a thing! **sigh**

I KNOW it's their book - I know that technically and all to keep it past the contacted time is theft... but they really send the police to search your house?

LOLOLOL - as I think about the cops around here being able to read well enough to search MY house for one specific book... it would take them WEEKS to read all the titles! LOLOLOLOL Oh oh oh - I'm a BAD bad person!

I know the letter is automatic and I think if you owe one or two small books it's not a big deal. But I was thinking about it. If you have 5 hardcovers at around $19 or $20 a piece that's a hundred dollar theft. Any store in the world will have you arrested.
