Rogue was looking a little rough the last few days. On Friday I was stroking her head and her ears were all scabby. Yuck. She had the goopey eye thing going and was sleeping most of the day. i think they make those probiotics in powder form now. Might be easier to sneak into her than Activia.

awww, poor Rogue. We've had geriatric kitties like that and yeah they get real thin. I also had a cat once who got ear mites despite being an outdoor cat. The vet couldn't explain how it possibly could have happened either.

And I am the same way when it comes to my older cats and putting them through hell of excessive vet treatments and tests. It's enough to make their lives as comfy as possible until their time comes. Cats living beyond 17 is still somewhat rare. Our two lived to 19 each.

Hope she's feeling better.

Poor kitty! My senior cat has goopy eyes and has been sneezing a lot. I guess they are more prone to illness when they're geriatric, cause I can never recall any cat of muine having a headcold before...
