Futari wa Pretty Cure Blue Moon: Ending and Epilogue

Nov 13, 2012 00:15

Okay, so the length of the final episode of Blue Moon broke LJ. The best solution thus far was to take the ending of the story and attach it to the epilogue I'd already written for precurefanworks, and then post that all there. ...but then it turned out that that community had a moderation queue now! Since there's still a limit on fic posts on precure, I did the only ( Read more... )

Bravo! Enjoyed this right to the end, well done!

A little sad about Yoko's parents, but I guess that's realistic... crap happens. Glad Ami-sensei was there for her.

They'll get over it eventually. Sadly, not all parents react like Asa's mom, but Yoko's parents begrudgingly got used to Takashi having Seira around, and in a small place like Kazahana City, there isn't much you can do to get away from something if it's sticking around.

Thank you very much! I'm glad to have made people happy. Someone needed to tell this story and I'm happy that I was able to.

Finally a great ending in a great story. Personally, I think the whole story can be a bit rush but you did express the message clearly and I think it is a great message that everyone should learn.

Asa and Yoko and other side characters are pretty fun and memorable at times. That made me miss them after the ending. And I am all for a second season or even a movie, or a side story telling about what they do as Precure after defeating Etherium.

But for now thanks for the great story and take care. Also what do you think about Smile Precure so far? I think it is the most light hearted Precure season so far and it did entertain me a lot, but for story development and action, it was quite lacking. But hey, it is still miles better the Suite precure.

Thank you very much! I'm sorry I took so long with this when I really should have worked more quickly.

On the subject of Smile, I love it -- it really reminds me of Futari wa in terms of tone and treatment.

Even though I read this on fanfiction(dot)net, I'm gonna post my comments here. This is a very wonderful story you wrote, and I'm glad I got to read it, even if I'm very late in the bandwagon. I think this would make a great anime! Your characters are very well developed and dynamic, the situations felt very natural, I loved the conflict here, I love the messages here (and really, some anvils DO need to be dropped, and you did it awesomely!), the story was very gripping, the villains are great, and while there are some things that weren't to my tastes (like Binbeat's introduction episode), I'm not too bothered by it. I actually prefer this fan fic over Perfume Preppy (which, while good, has quite a bit of flaws. Don't hurt me!). I can actually relate to Asa in that I'm a big fan of anime/manga/games, but people picked on me a lot for it and for my Autism. Great fan fic!

Thank you very much! I'm really glad you liked it. To tell you the truth, the panty episode fits pretty well into Early Instalment Weirdness, at least in my opinion. If I were to do it again, I'd have Binbeat egging houses or something instead. Well, it is what it is and some people liked it, so hey. I'm currently working on another Curefic called Puzzle Hunt Precure, which is two episodes in. (Sadly, the update schedule is turning out to be just as erratic as Blue Moon's was -- sorry! I try!) Do you write fanseries at all?

I'm actually steadily working on one called Twilight Pretty Cure. I made some posts about it on here (if you click on the tag "fan creations" and scroll and find my name on some, those are where they are) along with some of my drawings of the characters. I'm working on the 12th chapter right now, but I'm still debating over whether I want to post it anywhere or not. I don't want to post something and then run out of inspiration and put it on a permanent hiatus as I've done with other stuff. I'm planning to post it here, though!
