Congolese street musicians

Staff Benda Bilili is a group of Congolese street musicians, some of whom use wheelchairs. A report about them is online here. What I like is the emphasis on their music. Their 'extraordinary journey' is hyped but how they came to use wheelchairs isn't the focus. What do you think of them?

internet: online resources, visibility, conditions: polio, conditions: paraplegia, music, wheelchairs, the performer

I can't get that link to work - it takes me to http://www.iana.org/domains/example/ for some reason :-(

It might help if I put in the actual URL! Oops, thanks for pointing this out. I've now fixed it so let me know if it still doesn't work.

Yes, that works now :-)

Seemed like a good article - focusing on the music and how it's allowed the band to improve their living conditions. I'll try to remember to look out for the film if it gets to the telly (we don't really do cinema any more - too inconvenient).
