TWO DAYS TO ACT on this: You’ve been asked to have your say on the NHS

Somebody in friendly_crips (identify yourself if you want to) points out that here in England, the National Health Service (NHS) is coming up for review but our opinions don't seem very welcome. We have until 23 November to comment.

Yes really, we have until Monday. Today is Saturday.

Already done! And commented on the horribly clunky " download, complete and email or post" format. I'm told they've finally put an online version up now so that's something

{irony} A clunky Govt website? Never!

One way to reduce the response rate to this consultation, eh? Perhaps affecting some disabled people in particular. Some of us don't have the options of filling in the form by hand, then walking to a postbox.

I filled in the electronic form and emailed it as the Govt website instructed. My main comments were
- how difficult it was to understand the policy document. That was obvs written by a politician or civil servant to mean whatever anybody wants it to mean
- how I want the NHS to respond to people's needs instead of focusing on groups whose conditions fit neat boxes

That's awful. Wish I could say it's a surprise but it isn't, as that newspaper journalist pointed out.
