I was also squicked by "the management of people with autism." I get that they're trying to say management rather than care/confinement/treatment/whatever, but it feels distressingly paternalistic, as though autistic folk need "managing" as opposed to social supports etc. *sigh*

Any time I see the person-first language, I know autistic people weren't involved.
