There was a report on the radio yesterday saying that the majority of people who've had their housing benefit cut as a result of having "spare" bedrooms are now in arrears with their rent.

Who'd have expected that? [/sarcasm]

It's getting very close to next years election and the Liberals have woken up to find that their compact with the Tories haven't made them popular, so they are attempting to make clear ground between them. Sorry it isn't going to work for me. I regard the Liberals as more responsible for the fiasco, because the Tories did what Tories always do. But they could never have done it without the Liberals backing them up in the first place. We expected better from the Liberals. I will never vote for them again.
