This Danish woman who has been stuck with MS has nonetheless run 366 marathons in one year. One per day, plus one, for a full year.

Wow, that's amazing. :)

I was pretty fit BC (before crippledom) as I cycled about 80 miles a week and walked everywhere. I was pretty outdoorsy - rambling, camping, dog walking, festivals etc. The hardest thing to live with, I find, is being trapped indoors most of the time. The part of me that's nourished by nature is shrivelled and blackened. Roll on the summer. :)

Oh yes, that is how it feels. I go for days at a time now without leaving the house, hardly even knowing what the weather's like. Here's a photo of me in my rambling past (userpic).
