Bijan Ebrahimi was an innocent, peaceful man. He was also a disabled man. Neighbours murdered him after false accusations of paedophilia. Bijan Ebrahimi lived in Bristol, where I also live. I believe he suffered from mental health problems. And while I can't be sure that he was a Moslem, his name seems to give that clue. Plus the social housing estate he lived on is very poor and mainly white. He complained both to the housing authorities and the police that he was being harrassed. Therefore there was several things going on here. I would say it was the 'fear of the other' - race/religion/mental health/disability etc
