Almost certainly good! That stuff keeps for ages. Soak it in hot water, or even better, hot bouillon, for half an hour or so, THEN cook it over a medium heat until it's nice and soft. I'll be surprised if it isn't still OK. (Tip: a lot of people prefer to skim off any "scum" from the cooking water. Some also prefer to rinse and re-boil, like whole beans or pulses - it's supposed to tenderise and improve the flavour.)
