Picking you up at your apartment at 5am for the hospital trip felt like some sort of secret mission. Didn't know the way to the hospital, where to park or anything.
I think of a lot of your posts when you were working here in the cities as 'memories' because I could relate to the language and what you were doing ... even though really, of course I wasn't there.
Laying about in the living room of the old apt. you shared with Pam...with Drew is all sickly in your room. I can't sleep, and copy excerpts of Notes from the Underground. Not yet realizing I'm gonna totally destroy your heart.

Yeah, to this day I still count that among some of my more surreal experiences.
Surgery, anesthesia, hospital stays are strange things.

Banal observation: Many of my online friends have impacted my life easily just as much as many people in real life. It's an odd thing.
