Friday Night Lights DVDs

So I work at Walmart and have been checking every single like hour since the DVD's came out but I haven't seen them on the shelves. But I figured it's just because we suck ass at actually stocking things at our store. I dunno. So today I didn't work and decided to just call and they said they had it but it was two seperate discs? At Wal-Mart, the DVDs are sold split into two halves of the season, The First Half, and The Second Half. That's why they're in two parts, and cost half the price.

That statement's only sort of half-true. It's not all Wal-Marts, actually. I bought mine at Wal-Mart, the season altogether, not split at all.

They sell the regular full season DVD too, it's just at Wal-Mart that the two halves are sold as well.

Ah sorry, I thought you were saying that the two-halves were the only copies they sell at Wal-Mart. Sorry about that, carry on, haha.

Just find a different Wal-Mart though, 'cause they didn't sell any halves at the one where I bought mine. Every copy they had was the whole season.

That's kind of funny, because all they sold at mine were the split halves. I specifically had the salesperson check for me.

From what I heard it was different at each store. I haven't checked out the one nearest me yet, though. It should be the same material though. It seems there are a few different versions out there.

Yep, most (not all) Wal-Marts are carrying the season split in two parts. Different packaging, obviously, but the content/number of discs is the same.
