Alone Time; Jacob/Bella; Everyone

Bella always felt surprised (and guilty) about how often she thought about being alone with Jake. Somehow, everything was easier when they were alone. When they were alone, there really was no magic, no monsters. Just Jake and Bella walking along their beach hand in hand. And yet, the draw was strong to return to Edward. But she seldom fantasized about being alone with him. Because that was inevitable. But she had to fight for her alone time with Jake. That made it all the more special. She revered that time, hoped there’d never be a time she missed it.
