Anyone who has ever been mean, rude, pushy, or impatient in/to a drivethru/drivethru worker: You don't understand how hard it is...The girl at the window has to wait on you and take the people at the speaker's order...and in my case at Steak 'n Shake, make milkshakes (and SnS milkshakes are so DIFFICULT to make, they're old-fashioned, hand-dipped ( Read more... )

I totally hear you on this. I once got a large orange soda thrown at my skull because I had neglected to provide napkins. The day at that point had been so bad that when the soda connected with my head, burst open and exploded all over me, I hopped out the drive through window with a handful of ice to throw at this man. It's not a fun job and they certainly don't pay you enough to deal with that shit.

I was pretty fiesty in high school..lot of street fights and whatnot...this was pretty tame compared the rest of it...And a few of my ice cubes connected :o)

And I got the rest of the day off from work becuase my manager thought I was going to snap...ahh Burger King..another in the long list of jobs I will not miss..

Ugh, I keep expecting to get something thrown at me. There was this one lady coming through the Drivethru, and when I was handing her change back, a DIME fell on the ground, and she was like "OMFG HOW AM I S'POSSED TO GET MY DIME ( ... )

I already know that I can't work in service anymore, and that includes retail. I hate people too much. Sometimes customers can be the biggest asswipes ever.
