The new semester has begun, and it's going to be a tough one. I'm going to work my butt off this semester, but I have the feeling that it'll be really enjoyable, despite the amount of work I have. I'm excited about statistics, as I've never taken it before and I like being able to APPLY what I learn in a classroom. Organizational psych is also very ( Read more... )

wow you sound really busy with all the college work. It makes it so much better though if you really like the work eventhough that's a lot of it. I hope that my classes are that way this year. How many more years of college do you have left? oh Chinese isn't that hard? You have to learn both written and spoken separately or at least you do at my uni I think. Good luck with your classes!

That sounds like a really eventful but good year like in how far you've come and what you've learnt. I hope that is what this year is like for me too. omg I'm sorry about your friend and that you had to go through that and that he had to go through that. I'm glad you're doing OK and I think and hope that I'll think of my dad that way too this time next year. I understand what you mean about people leaving, it is a fact of life although it's sad. But then you do get to meet more people as you go on right? Here's to 2007. ♥

Thanks for the comment! I have two and a half years left of college, and Chinese is pretty difficult. I haven't studied Chinese in nearly four years, so I'm trying to relearn everything, which is painful.

That is a good way to look at life, that even though people leave your life, more people enter it. Cool people like you! =)

Oh that's still a lot to go but I think I have more than you because I'm going really slowly. How come you stopped learning it? What kind of Chinese is it, is it Mandarin? I feel like I should know Chinese cos I'm Chinese and my mum speaks it but I don't, it's pretty embarrassing. lol.

You're pretty awesome yourself. Take care. :) ♥

Yeah, it's Mandarin. I stopped because in 9th-10th grade I took Chinese at the community college instead of taking it at my Chinese school. That meant I "graduated" from the Chinese school curriculum by 10th grade.

And wow, I never knew you were Chinese! But hey, you're not the only person who's Chinese and doesn't speak it. =)
