Yes, I hear you. I too know of others who have experienced Odin as close and involved with them. I personally experienced his assistance when I was first learning the Runes. I think that what Tacitus reported was his own observations about how communities worshiped him rather than how individuals experienced him. Even so, I thought that his report was very interesting and illuminating, illustrative of some of the differences between Odin and Nerthus and those in relationships with them.

Yes, you have very special and rich relationships with your goddesses and gods. I know of no one else like you! I applaud you. I think that what you are doing is exciting and probably limited to a select few individuals who are capable of handling so many relationships. I know that what you're doing is beyond my abilities!

Yes, the ancient worship of Nerthus sounds like fun, very Vanic! Of course, I'm a bit biased :o)
