17. The Vanir and Aesir are complementary to each other.

This misconception assumes that the Vanir and Aesir are incomplete without each other. While I think that it could be argued that the Aesir are essentially incomplete in and of themselves I do not think that it could be rightly said that the Vanir are likewise incomplete. This was very informative. It explains a lot about a kindred my friend and I stopped visiting with recently. Loki told us they reacted so crappily when we left because we brought an energy they didn't have and they resented that it was gone, but I didn't understand what that meant at the time. This post just cleared up a lot of issues for me.

I'm not, but he's always pestering my friend. She's crowned by Yemaya and Chango so she barely gives Loki the time of day, but he still flirts shamelessly with her.
