That was really cute. I liked the idea of Arthur puzzling over the maraconi glitter ornament. Very sweet.

Thank you! I just had this vision of Arthur being all posh and manly trying to figure out why someone would cover pasta in glitter and hang it from a tree :)

Oh! I love Christmas fics! XD (I can't really judge you, 'cause I sing Christmas songs every day except when it's actually Christmas... Annoys the tar out of my sister.) I found wonderful how Arthur and Merlin decide to celebrate Christmas in July! XD Lovely fic! It was sweet and very cute. I grinned like a loon when I read this. :D

Merlin caught him one afternoon with a macaroni and glitter ornament, a remnant of Merlin’s childhood, turning it over and over in his hands, like it was a puzzle to be solved. And Merlin’s heart had broken a little then, at the sight of him cross-legged on the unlit hearth and lost to the world, until he’d put the ornament aside and pressed Arthur into the carpet, kissing away whatever ghosts lingered in the thick summer air.

Love this - it sounds so much like them. Well done.
