presumably to find me. i do not think he ever truly agreed with the lady's plans.

though why would he look here first when not even i have ever heard of this place?

but the monster is so similar to his form. i can't be mistaken.

Is there anything you can do to pacify him? If you say that he won't hurt you, then perhaps it's within your power.

if i present myself to him, he should transform back.

On the other hand, if you're mistaken and this creature isn't him, you could wind up being killed.
