lol Oh, well, in that case, you may have a bag of M&Ms. For replenishing your strength. :P
I kind of am that kind of author. lol Well, no, actually, I can think of at least two things off the top of my head that I don't think I could ever, EVER write. At least not without feeling srsly ill.
So, okay. After that, it's a bit ironic that the heartbreaking one is the one I write first, though perhaps not surprising, knowing my predisposition to angst...
He tells himself it doesn’t hurt, when the truth comes out. Tells himself it’s not a knife in his gut that Merlin looks so resigned, so tired and unwilling - unable? - to fight. When he orders him out and Merlin only asks, in a quiet voice, no anger or fight left, that he be allowed to pack, that Gaius not be held accountable, he tells himself it doesn’t hurt. And as he watches from the battlements, ignoring Morgana’s glares and Guinevere’s tears, his best friend walk away without a backwards glance, he tells himself he doesn’t regret pushing and pushing til Merlin gave up, gave in, stopped fighting (for) him. Arthur has always been good at lying, but never to himself.
Or am I both at the same time? Having seen photos of Camilla NO, I'M NOT GOING TO SAY IT. I REFUSE. XD Also, if you're Prince Consort, you totally need to hook me up with a trip to the UK. Also, if you could get me Bradley, Colin, and/or ASH, that'd be great... :P (I only need them for an afternoon, and I swear they'd be returned in one piece.)
Also, OMGYESSPN. Cas kicks SO MUCH ASS. SERIOUSLY. I actually think the angels are kind of worse than the demons. Maybe cause you expect the demons to be complete jerks, but who expects an angel to act like that, really? And Ruby! I so wanted to jump up and down cheering when the Winchesters teamed up to kill her! XD Most awesome brother team EVER. I still totally ship Dean/Cas - Idk, I see it perfectly, and it works so well! But then, I don't really ship Wincest and don't see that too often, so to each their own, y/y?
lol, yes, to each his own. now that I have finished this season though, I may scroll back through the comms and find some dean/cas just to try it out, I haven't read anything of that ship up to this point simply because I figured it would be spoilery. But if I go far enough back it shouldn't be a problem
( ... )
Tbh, I actually do like the whole brother/brother taboo in fiction. (F/G, especially. Or, I've read several fics where Merlin and Arthur were brothers.) I just can't really get into it, in canon like that, I guess. It's a peculiar mental block I have, evidently. lol
Sam leading the demon armies would be pretty freaking awesome, actually. But then, so would Dean leading a host of angels.
Also, if you want to read some Dean/Cas, you should check out downfall35 (and I'm not just saying that cause he's on my flist). He writes some of my favourite D/C fic.
