Trish smiled slightly, "He is, said he was wrapping some things up so there won't be too many crises for Arthur to deal with." Then she picked up her desk phone and called her boss, "He says go right in."
Sure enough Webb was behind the last of a mountain of paperwork, "All done for the day?"
Annie hoped the woman was still coming, but she didn't really wait for an answer as she went in. The sight of Webb sitting behind his desk looking busy never failed to make her smile. She was so proud of him and as she stepped further into the office, she nodded.
"I am. Just thought I'd come up and see how you were doing. Had a feeling that you'd be here all afternoon if you were given the chance."
"That or they're trying to keep you from getting married." She was teasing. "Do you want to just meet me at home? I don't want to distract you any more than I already have. I can start packing..."
She stayed where she was since most of what was on his desk was likely classified above her pay grade.

As for the man in question he just smiled slightly at Annie, "I told them I was leaving three hours ago. I think that's why I can see desk again."
