Girls Bonding Night - w/Myra
Annie had agreed to bring the alcohol (which she'd picked up on the way home from the office) and the spoons (which she'd snagged from Danielle's kitchen) to the night of bonding she'd planned with Myra Hughes. But, rather than just picking up the bottle of wine that Myra had suggested, she'd gone a little further and chosen vodka as well.
And maybe a small bottle of rum, as well. Who knew what the other woman liked to drink. All Annie knew was that wine didn't always go with ice cream. Or with shoot-'em-up action movies, which she'd also grabbed from her sister's stash.
It was going to be a great night.
Armed with Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Jason Statham, she lined them up on the shelf and placed the spoons on the tiny counter in the guest house next to the napkins she had, just in case.
Then she changed into a pair of cotton night pants and a tank-top. With her hair pulled back into a ponytail, it felt like a reminder of college all over again.
