There's a Chloe-shaped bunny in my head, demanding her side of things. I'm trying to ignore her for now. But there will be more Chlollie. :) Thanks so much!

What? Oliver is finding it hard to hear you. See icon.

Sorry to have brought the waterworks. Were the good tears, at least?

I read your previous Chlollie fics a long time ago and loved them, so I was really excited to see you'd written them again. And it was just as awesome! :)

I thought it was so cute and endearing that Oliver can't help but voice that he's feeling a little neglected that Chloe praises the whole team minus him.

"It's not about ego, Ollie. It's about saying whatever it takes to get the job done and get everybody home in one piece..."

I loved how you had these parts...where it reminded us how it seems like she was almost born for this job--life. She has this innate ability to hold heroes up and bring them home when they need it (and yeah, she had experience with Clark but it still felt automatic coming from her even back then).

Think it'd make a difference if I told her I was flattered, but I've kind of become a one-woman man?

Just kind of? she says, and then the bow snaps, steel slicing through skin, and he grits his teeth so hard his jaw cracks and hopes to hell that she keeps talking. There was this crazy balance between when he ( ... )

I know you in particular really supported the All Along The Watchtower series, so I need to thank you for that, first and foremost. It's definitely not dead - hopefully you'll be seeing an update very soon.

The balance between the banter and the torture (let's call a spade a spade) was challenging to write, but rewarding in the end, if that makes any sense. The idea of Oliver taking his mind somewhere else - random moments they've shared, random things she's said, and, at the worst of times, random conversations with the Chloe in his head. I'm so glad to hear that it worked for you. :)

This is SO good, thank you for sharing. :) I love Ollie's voice in it, and how he has Chloe's voice in his head from the get go -- I've always imagined it being so, even.

Gosh you kind of broke me. In a good way. Man, I'm gonna go crazy waiting to find out resolution to the finale, I just hope Smallville delivers in a non-sucky way.

Awww, sorry for the breakage! Though I enjoy a good breakage-by-fic every once in awhile - it's good for the soul. :)

I'm not putting much stock in Smallville to fix this properly, to be honest. But fandom will deal, as we always have. Thanks so much for reading.
