In This Late Hour
Smallville, Chloe (Bart, AC, Victor, Oliver), spoilers through “Siren”
Alas, none of them belong to me. Drat.
The clock is ticking, the stakes are rising, and they haven’t blown a mission yet. She could be in real trouble this time.

The first one just appeared. )

This was grand -- I loved how each of the JL guys "courted" Chloe. And the banter. And the BSG musical reference!

The BSG had to be done. :) Thanks for reading!

That was great! I love how the boys appreciate her and make her feel so 'essential' as you put it. It was great how each one of them tried to woo her in their own unique way but at the same showed how well they know her and what makes her tick. The League definitely needs a woman's touch and Chloe's just the one to whip those boys into shape, lol.

Great job, I loved this!

I could not agree more - these boys definitely need a little Chloe in their lives. :) Thanks for reading, and for your feedback.

Wow! This is wonderful!

(Confession: I didn't know until now that "All Along the Watchtower" had been done by anyone other than Jimi Hendrix, much less that Bob Dylan wrote it. Now I'm in search of every version. And I have to watch all of BSG to get to and through the season 3 finale. All your fault.)

Thank you! And don't feel bad - the Hendrix version of Watchtower is arguably the best-known, and for good reason. But there are several great versions out there - U2 (with an extra verse, no less), Eddie Vedder & The Million Dollar Bashers, Dave Matthews Band, Tabitha's Secret (aka matchbox twenty), and the Grateful Dead covers are all high on my list, but I have a serious soft spot for McCreary's reworked version.

And does one really need an excuse to watch BSG? ;)

Oh, I absolutely love Chloe with the JL. You did an excellent job picking their gifts and I love how you made Chloe realize how awesome she's got to be to merit the (well deserved) attention. Great job!

I love them together, too. They make quite a formidable team, and I think she could bring a balance to their dynamic that may be sorely needed. And after seven seasons of things being All About Lana, Chloe absolutely deserves to be the center of attention for a change. Thanks for your thoughts.
