For all this talk of what "isn't right" for children to do, the foundation for many of these beliefs is Christian doctrine, which would insist that God made them that way. Or the devil.

I can understand people being confused about sexual identity disorder, but why so much hate for a birth defect? It's hard enough to grow up, and this makes it so much more difficult, why make it even worse with such abuse?

This is probably the best "layman's terms" way I've ever heard to describe it...couldn't have said it better myself.

And so far Chipotle, Snapple, Bank of America, Sonic and Carl's Jr have pulled their advertising from the show. So, yay. :)

I thought it over for a second, but when someone is born with both types of genitals and usually one of them is vestigial, it's a birth defect. ;P

Oh no, I meant as far as describing being transgender...as in, you were born with a body that doesn't match your gender identity. Sorry we were talking about two different things.
