Hope everyone who celebrates Christmas enjoyed it yesterday. I made out like a bandit and have been watching my new "Black Books" DVD's all morning. It's the funniest show ever and I can't believe nobody's heard of it. Here, watch some clips. And last night I started in on "My Custom Van" by Michael Ian Black and the first essay has thus far

Isn't Channel 4 like the Fox TV of England? I haven't heard of the show either, but a show about a bookstore...how can you go wrong. I can't watch the previews, so I'll just torrent some episodes later.

What type of themes and people?

Not just a bookstore...a bookstore and the cranky drunken Irishman that runs it!

And the recurring themes and people are just things from my past...college (specifically the moving-out process after graduation), upstate towns, and of course the random pop-ups of ex-boyfriends from over the years (which is quite confusing, since the exes appearing in my dreams have all been the "good riddance" relationships).
