I very much believe as you do (though I am more economically conservative). I would point out that I recently read some articles about acceptance of refugees. On said that not accepting refugees could cause more terrorism than not:
My subway line, which terminus is St Denis, is completely shut down today. I'm supposed to take it tomorrow evening to see a play in the 17th arrondissement...
