Great post. Just got caught up. This show is excruciating. No wonder it took me 3 tries to get past ep 1.2. I admire it tremendously, but it's relentless, and as the mother says at some point, there's no justice at all in this world.
Definitely not entertainment but poetry of the most painful kind. I'm so impressed by Ray Mckinnon, the simple fact that he created such a unique piece of art for television.
Watched 3.2 yesterday. WOW. A stand-out ep in a stand-out show. So many reveals about characters' backstories, and so much fall-out. Did we know Tawney had grown up in a foster home? I don't think so. That put a whole other spin on everything we knew about her.
Every scene was so rich. Daniel having a great day juxtaposed with Amantha at the end of her rope; the parents; Teddy and his brother. Everything just jaw-dropping.
Yeah, that was a sexy little dance. He's probably the character who's come the farthest since the beginning, when I just had no sympathy or liking for him at all. Now I'm still not sure I "like" him, wouldn't want to hang out with him, but we've been shown so far inside him and he's come to be so self-aware, that he's a real stand out. And what a performance.
I think the worst is behind me. The night was quite awful and I was very tired today and ate only a small part of rice. I should be able to resume a normal diet tomorrow...

But any Teddy-centric episode has to be brillant. :- )
So many parallels between Daniel and Teddy in that one.
I meant to review it but didn't find the time to do it properly. I'll try to write something down tomorrow.
Now if I coud find a Gif of Clayne Crawford dancing!

How are you celebrating?

I am not celebrating. I've been sick since yesterday evening. I think that the worst of it is behind, but I am still not well, and quite tired.
