Truth can be dangerous, but it still has values.

A lesser show would have turned into a big screen thing what is a big thing, but The Americans does trust itself, and the show trusts its audience and its amazing cast.

I used that word in my first edit of my post on the episode - silence. That unspoken silence - the knowledge now between Philip, Elizabeth, & Paige more than their words was a deafening cacophony of emotions screaming in my mind at the time. Just how do you deal with knowing that your parents are not who you thought they were (or anything near who you did not know who they were - if that makes sense). Because suddenly, you realize that you are not who you have come to think of your own self. Paige no longer knows exactly who she is or is to come, which was best exemplified when she did not relate all to Pastor Tim. You see your world in a whole new light, which was well portrayed by Paige when Stan came to the house that night ( ... )

The only thing that would make the show better would be to give more screen time to Arkady!

PS: I won't be able to watch Fortitude until Saturday...don't spoil me!
