Sometimes celebrities are just fans like everyone else, and compelled to write fannish things. I found this example below via twitter: It's a message that Hannibal Lecter Anthony Hopkins sent to Walter White Bryan Cranston, and that the Huffington Post shared with us after they had its authenticity confirmed:

Awww, that's lovely! We are about halfway thru S4, and I couldn't agree more with Sir Hopkins. (he is a sir, right? Not sure).
Also, thanks so much for hte Borges podcasts!

I know!

I'm sure that many actors were impressed by Cranston's work (and probably a little envious too) as well, and by the quality of the show, but it's nice to see one saying it "out loud".

Cheers! Salutations! Oh my, this is great. (Just as coincidence would have it, I browsed through Sian Phillips' memoirs the other week, and in them is this "who could have known Tony would get to be one of our most famous actors?" musings re: young Anthony Hopkins in "The Lion in Winter".)

There were so many young (and promising) faces in that film!

Cranston surely knows that he got the role of his life in BrBa and did great with it, but I bet it's super nice to read a letter like that from one of your peers.

I saw that earlier--how awesome and sweet and so respectful of the acting craft. I love that he took time to name each actor. So very cool :-)

I can almost hear Aaron Paul yelling "Yeah! Sir Anthony Hopkins, BITCH!" :-D
