A few remarks concerning BSG miniseries that I have re-watched. I hope fragrantwoods  will share her take on it.

So much here...I almost watched this some years ago, but the lead guy was ugly (I was obviously crazed from grad school & work) and the lead woman was my age and dying of cancer, so...no

Yeah it had flaws like the one you pointed out about the group of Capricans. There was also Gaius saying "My god" instead of "my gods" when Six revealed her mission...Baltar was supposed to be an atheist but, even though it was just an interjection, he should have used the plural since he lived in a polytheistic society.

That said, the good overcame the bad, writing wise, in my opinion.
