As usual I found Echo to be the least interesting character and Eliza the weakest part acting-wise, compared to the rest of the cast, and like probably many other viewers who hoped for an ensemble show this year I'm disappointed that the credits still focus on Eliza only. Nods. She's really the weakest link while AA is getting more and more interesting.
Topher is turning into a somewhat tragic figure, not only because he's forced to face the consequences of his actions and morally growing through it (a bit like sociopathic Anya in BTVS) which humanizes him and makes the audience feel for him, but also because we already know that he is doomed. Nods again. At the end when he's just sitting there rubbing his face you really couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor guy.
Victor, on the other hand, you just want to touch his face. Yes and how interesting that his scars will be gone while Whisky/Dr. Clair gets to keep hers.
Adelle wanted Victor to be pretty again. Besides so far he is the only male Active we know and there must be assignments that require a male instead of a woman.
I'm glad they changed the credits - the old version was pretty awful: meaningless and pretentious.
I thought that the episode seemed slightly unfocused with the various storylines and I wasn't too fond of the arms dealer story. That said, I was at times a little distracted. But as a season opener, it sowed a lot of seeds for more development arc- and characterwise.
