“I could eat you now, you pig…” Ranulf growled, licking the man’s flecked blood from his own lips. “I could rip your throat out and feed you to my brothers. Do you know why I won’t?”
The man shook his head. Ranulf snarled.
“Because you are a monster, not I. You give my people a bad name. Nazi swine. Because if I killed you, your friends would never know what we will do to them. So go, tell them.”
The man tripped as he ran, and Ranulf closed his eyes. Nothing was harder than restraint in the face of inhumanity.
