Luke left Reid’s office in a daze. One minute they were just talking and getting to know each other, then they were fighting, and then they were kissing and touching. And, God, he had really wanted to stay there, right there in Reid’s arms.

But Mike had called again, asking where he was. So he left Reid standing in his office, mumbling

Oh, man. Reid could use a bit of fine tuning of his people skills. First he gets Luke all worried about Kevin and then he deals that blow? Very in character, but still, ouch. Poor boys, always sabotaging themselves.

But I have hope that one day, they'll learn just to talk to each other. One day... :)

You're right, Reid wasn't very considerate of Luke's feelings here. But there's a lot going on for him too. But who knows... maybe one day they'll actually talk (maybe sooner than you think ;-)).

Every chapter leaves me wanting more. They are both wanting the other but both are scared. Luke is afraid of being "discovered" and Reid is afraid of being hurt. With both of their professional lives calling them apart it will be interesting to see where you take this.

They both have a lot to be afraid of and they don't have a lot of time now to find out if they really want to be together now. There are soccer matches that need to be played ;-).

Okay kids, buckle up the angst train is about to hit full throttle! Wow! So not only should Luke be worried about Kevin's health he then finds out that Reid is giving him the blowoff. The first guy he had let in, trusted, wanted to make changes for..... This is about to get serious! Not that I blame Reid for one second, because that is a hard and painful way to be in love.

As always, can't wait for more! Love this story.

Damn a cliffhanger.

What will happen. Will Luke get Reid to open op and talk about what is going on.
Will Luke be to shocked to respond and will nothing happen until they see each other after the tournament.

I'll try to be patient.

I understand Reid but he could talk to Luke first.
(Not the accusing talk of last chapter dough)
