I've taken a break from my X-Files rewatch to do some streaming on Amazon Prime instead, I've been feeling like I've really not been getting enough use out of it considering the cost of it. (This is why I don't have Netflix lol, I always just end up stressing myself out over am I watching enough to make use of my subscription!) I've just finished

I found myself caring the most about Bellamy and Octivia's sibling bond actually when it come to the relationships on the show, I'm always here for those ~us against the world~ kind of sibling dynamics and the flashbacks with the two of them were very sweet.

I was never a fan of Finn, like ever. lol. The way the show handled that whole situation with Clarke, him, and Raven just made it worse - because he came across like a total douche to me, despite how they otherwise tried to sell it.

And yeah, it was more annoying because the writers seemed to have a real blindspot when it came to portraying Finn as this stand-up guy, even though that's not what I got from his behaviour a lot of the time. It seemed like he saw himself as the victim for getting caught out by Raven, even though he was the one that decided to sleep with Clarke when he knew that Raven was waiting for him and still believed they were together

Ugh, Finn. I really disliked Finn. I didn't like him from the start but when we found out he was still with Raven even though he'd spent every second on Earth trying to hook up with Clarke, I was just done with him. I also really loathe Murphy

Yeah I didn't like Finn from the start either lol, he came across as the annoying wise-cracker in the pilot when he was encouraging the other kids to stand up (and from what I remember a couple of them died because of that?), so I was pretty surprised actually when I realised that the show was going to present him as the main male lead. He just never had that kind of presence to me?

And Wells did seem like a character that they could have used more as he came across as the shows best example of a "good guy" early on, it seemed like they were trying to push Finn into that role later instead, but it didn't really work for me...

Season 2 does sound like something that I might end up checking out after all, if the characterisation is strong that year and there are some good character arcs, that's really all I need to get invested

I'm glad that you liked the first season of The 100! I'm in the minority and wasn't crazy about the second one, but it was still decent.

hmm I watched the first season as it aired but totally lost track of it last year. It's interesting to see so many comments of support for the second season tho, maybe I'll give it a try one day.

Yeah it came across as that kind of show to me too, easy enough to sit down and bing-watch, but at the same time not really a must-watch for me, so I can see myself easily losing track of it

The 100 is one series i have yet to watch. I am currently going through Battlestar Galactica and soon will be watching season one of Dollhouse.

I've been tempted to have my own re-watch of Dollhouse when I have time, I really loved that show :)

I found the complete first season in a charity shop yesterday fro three quid! I am looking forward to watching it.

Awesome, once you get past the first five episodes (they've stuck on a case of the week format which doesn't always work) the main plot starts getting REALLY good
