The Name of the Rose

I'm looking for this quote which I'm pretty sure is from Umberto Eco's The Name of the Rose .. something about books talking, whispering to each other. I have the book but can't seem to find that specific quote and I'm starting to think I imagined it, whelp! Can anyone confirm that there such a quote and direct me to the relevant chapter? Any help
