That's how I like my Optimus too! I love movieverse Optimus in looks and voice, but everything else is just wrong about his character, in my opinion. Then again, I have to keep reminding myself that each incarnation of a character will/can be be very different.

I have to agree about movie!Optimus, he had one of my favorite designs from the films, but other than that, he was a disappointment.
