Awhile back, Victor and I were kicking around ideas of a PotO tweak, but I discarded it and ANOTHER IDEA SMACKED ME. The two courts would join for one last night of communion and fun before they start trying to kill each other. A masquerade ball open to all (courtiers and non-courtiers alike; Papa!Jack is the tentative gatekeeper to allow in the unescorted) for one night and one night only.
