Glad to hear that this negative is turning into a positive and that you've got more time. Though it saddens me that you won't be moving back to ATX, I'm super proud of you for fighting back and fulfilling your dream of living in SF.

Your landlord doesn't have other properties that you might be able to move into? Or know someone who leases some good places? If you're in a good place with him/her that might make the search a little easier.
