This semester I began taking a painting class. I was a little worried about it at first, because I still thought of Art as just a hobby; something I was mildly interested in and only somewhat talented in. Artists cannot fully and freely express themselves if their minds are cluttered with worries about the quality of their final products.

It's true. I realized a little while ago that what I consider my best poems and short stories are the ones that I wrote spontaneously. The same definitely goes for painting. :)

Thanks so much. I'm glad you like it. Feel free to yoink anything you want. It's been said that immitation is the highest form of flattery, and I fully agree with that. I hadn't thought of it as wisdom, but now that you put it that way I think this entry needs to be repeated in acreativememory.
