Observation:  When I get lost in Allston or Cambridge or Somerville, I somehow almost always end up in Harvard Square, regardless of where I started off or where I intended on going.

I conclude:  Harvard Square is a magical black hole and/or the center of the universe.

Harvard Square is, really, where all roads lead. Not that other place - I mean, wherever they say all roads lead...

a magical black hole that promises chocolate chip cookies, but doesn't provide... (every time I'm there I find myself craving chocolate chip cookies...)
