Why so silent?

I've often wondered if I could get back into the habit of blogging. There was a time when it was daily, sometimes more than that even. My problem isn't that I don't have stories to tell anymore, or an interest in telling them, or the time. I have lots of stories

I mean, surely, there is an app where you just talk and it types.

It wouldn't work for me though because 1.) I can't say what I'm thinking and 2.) I mispronounce everything.

My cousin Ram has mostly forsaken her laptop for her Droid, too. I guess my eyesight is too bad because my iPhone usually only gets used as an alarm clock or for playing Angry Birds when I'm bored. (Speaking of, it sounds like you have Angry Birds in real life. Might you be harboring green pigs in your cupboards??)

Anyway, it's always nice to read your perspective on things even if it's only once a month or so. :)

There must be. Only then I'd have to figure out how to get it to understand me. The Sync technology in my car only gets it if I shout, and then it's only about 80% accurate. "Call Mom". "Calling Ron." "NO!"

LOL, I gotta check our cupboards for pigs now.

And my husband has been encouraging me to blog more often, so maybe I'll actually listen to him for once. :)

LOL, sounds a bit like my situation, only it's my internet coming and going or being brain-shootingly-slow that keeps me from posting and what not.

It was good to be able to read this though, lol, it must be a good day for both of us, heh.

Ugh, I have no patience for bad connections. I was SO GROUCHY on the treadmill a few nights ago because Netflix wouldn't play South Park for more then ten minutes at a time.

Oh I know! I had to quit my netflix streaming because it was always so slow and made so angry, lol. I miss it :(

Ooh, I just got a new Android this weekend. Still need to move my SIM card over from my Blackberry and set it up -- I'm holding off until I've got an evening with the energy to spend a few hours not just copying over files and installing apps and tweaking settings but manually copying at least the uncleared transactions in my Mobile Checkbook app from the old phone to the new one.

I have one of the original Droids but ugh it's SO SLOW... my mother-in-law gave me money for my birthday to get a new one but apparently, I'm SO SLOW also!

I got the MyTouch with the slide-out QWERTY keyboard because coming from a Blackberry I flat out refused to be limited to a touchscreen keyboard. There was a bit of a learning curve with the touchscreen, and I wound up visiting the T-Mobile store to make sure it wasn't set up improperly before returning it to Wal-Mart for having given me a few hours of good data connectivity the first night I turned it on before refusing to connect ever again -- turned out to be T-Mobile not having been notified when I bought it that I was changing to a new phone and still routing my internet connection through the Blackberry servers and them having let me get away with it for a few hours before noticing I wasn't using a Blackberry and booting me off. With that settled and me having gotten mostly used to its quirks, I'm very pleased with it.

THAT TOO!! Ugh, phones... I love them but also, they are evil. My husband was toying with the idea of getting an iPad or something for us. I would never put that shit down if we had one.
