Most fun date I ever went on was in high school (and I still do this with my current boyfriend-- not the same guy): we went to World Market and picked out a bunch of snacks and a case of beers of the world. Like, vinegar chips, Asian fruit gummies, and whole mess of other things.
Smuggled our contraband into the movie theater and watched two movies back to back. It wasn't a planned theme, but we ended up seeing two Heath Ledger flicks. Brokeback Mountain and Casanova.
Best. Date. Ever. Completely low key, we got to pig out in the dark, and wasted an entire day inside a movie theater.

That actually sounds so fantastically fun!!!!! We ALMOST did that tonight, too, except we only saw one movie and all we smuggled was Milk Duds.

Rent a bunch of movies, order a bunch of food, have a movie marathon of your making in your place.

Or go to an arcade.

theme parks and fairs and such are always fun. don't know if there are any of those about though, so movies are never not fun. either you like the movie, or you can enjoy heckling it ;)

We kind of did both of those! We went miniature golfing at the most pathetic miniature golf course ever (kinda like a fair?) and then we went to see The Town which was actually good!
