I don't know what I was thinking about before I fell asleep... except work must've been in there.

I had a dream last night that I was busily making a shoe box diorama for a presentation of one of my research projects.

The diorama pretty much involved a rock band, Scooby Doo, and a beach.

I don't know what I dreamed, but that Rufus Wainright song you posted...um, a while back was playing in my head when I woke up. But only the cool Phantom of the Opera part at the end. It's been on my mp3 player for the last couple of weeks or so. Honestly, the first couple of times I heard it, it made me physically ill. "I shed a tear between my legs" is kinda gross imagery to me. I don't wanna be thinking about anything between your legs, mister!

And a couple of weeks ago, I had a dream where something sad was happening, but the musical score in my dream was terrible, and I said, "Oh, come on. I could write better music than this." So then, that Mountain Goats (??) song started playing. The one that says something about salmon spawning.

Okay, I'll stop typing now.

I know! I was totally into the song for weeks, and then I really started to pay attention to the lyrics and I kinda went, Oh. EW ACTUALLY.

I LOVE that you can control the musical score in your dreams. WIN!

Missy- This is really bizarre that you should have a dream about a diorama. About a week before you posted this I had a dream featuring a diorama! And I didn't tell you about it either. But in my dream it was Stacey who made the diorama. And she came over to show me, and you were there too. It was this really intricate village with people and buildings and everything. But then this spider came crawling out of it. And it was a real spider, and it was big and it had yellow eyes. And then it, like, spewed this mist out at me like a web, and I had to run away from it because it was chasing me. And then I was running through this field and jungle trying to get away from the poison mist. I don't know what happened to you and Stacey. I assume you stayed at my house with the diorama. Then you probably stole the diorama so you could pass it off as your own in your dream.

AHHAHA! I probably did steal it. That sounds like something I'd dream, giant spider coming after you... yicky!
