In the early 80s Milton Bradley published what they called the Gamemaster series. I snagged the office copy of Broadsides and Boarding Parties from the office game library. I just need to take time to sit down and play.

I've got fond memories of playing Conquest of the Empires 20+ years ago. I think the last time I played was 1987. (And that session went until way too early in the morning; which was the way we played games at the time.)

Wasn't Fortress America part of this series as well? We played a lot of Shogun and A&A. Somebody had a copy of Fortress America, but conventional wisdom in our group was that one side (I forget which) had an advantage too big to overcome, for the most part.

Yes, Fortress America was in that series. It always seemed too Red Dawn for my tastes.
