2. Mamma Mia, Pierce, Meryl and The Winner Takes it Al (haven't listened to the ST in a while, I should remdedy this).
Anyway, with wrg to the fic, this was beautfully written, per usual. You somehow managed to make it romantic but heartbreaking at the same time. The, ""He would have been more handsome blessed with curls." line was just :( :( :( and it's a little sad that there [was] this child that isn't Gwen's.
But somehow you gave them a good resolution, despite everything and it all seemed very realistic.
(I'm not truly sure I get the ending, you might have to clarify for my slow brain. Gwen eats an apple that made her think all of these things, along with Arthur? And what is Morgana and Morgause' true puprose, are their intentions for making ths all happen good? I do really like the idea of it all being an illusion.)

Onto your questions! Ho hum. Gwen didn't eat an apple; that was my ~sneaky~ allusion to the pictures of Katie eating an apple on the set a while back ;D It's only relevance is that the icky state of the apple made Gwen feel greater sympathy for hag!Morgause, which is exactly as Morgause wanted, for it completed her disguise.
Morgana and Morgause didn't orchestrate the events; Odin had teamed up with another magician. I personally don't think Morgause has it out for Camelot on the whole, she just wants Uther dead. I think she likely knows something of what Camelot/Albion is meant to look like under Arthur, and so doesn't want that disrupted either. And to that end, Gwen is important. So she and Morgana are trying to fix what the other magician mucked up.
Hopefully that clarified somewhat! ♥

You have no idea how much I love you right now, hun!
Of all the storylines in all the world, I hope it is this that happens. It's logical within Merlin terms AND gives reasonable explanations for all I saw in Pierrefonds (and those in the days after) and I love you for it.
If this doesn't happen I'll be very very sad.
So excellent.
