Although it would be nice to have Uther and Arthur talk in private together.
In all honesty, the way this all plays out in my head means that a discussion between Uther and Arthur would be a little pointless. By the time Uther has Gwen arrested, he's only keen to speak with her, test her a bit. Anything Arthur would say would simply be noise until Uther's had his chance ;)

I absolutely turned to a puddle when Arthur said, ""To stand beside the woman I love as a tyrant reigns over her" to his father.
Oh my. I am very surprised at the conversation between Gwen and Uther. Uther isn't the callous man that I thought he was. It touched me deeply that Uther just want his son to be happy with the one he loves.
I am soo glad that Gwen stood up for herself and deteriorate, in a sense, in front of Uther's eyes.

He really isn't. He has the best intentions and sees more than many people give him credit for. And he must understand love - he was in it, to a terribly strong degree; his paranoia and magic ban is based upon the loss of it, after all.
As for Gwen, she's a tough cookie. She's just learning that now, though ;)
