For those of you not familiar with this theme: The Judges provide an image, which can be found here. The contestants can only use that image (the only exception is having a background image). So it's your job to vote for who represented the image best!

I love stimulus' layout. The image isn't set as prominently as some of the other entries, but it doesn't need to be - the subtlety of the layout is stunning and extremely well done. The hover, especially, works very well with both the layout and the image.

Maybe I'm being retarded, but I can't see the image in squid_stick's layout....

Yeah, after staring at the image for a bit, it's the stripes, in a different color...

I honestly like wingweaver22's the most because I think it reflects the most pizzazz of the original image! Good job by everyone else too, though.

While wingweaver's layout is a bit dark for my taste, I know my taste isn't universal in that regard, and I think this layout presents the image best. For pure design I like squidstick's but I don't feel it uses the image best.

It was hard to pick between the last two.
I might have voted for the 4th had the diagonal lines matched up correctly, but that really drew my attention and I couldn't shake it, it turned me off to the whole layout. Plus I really do lovelovelove the 3rd one very much. It got my vote. Very pleasing to look at.
