Blood Gulch Arms

The Gulch was closed, but Tex was arguing furiously with Appo over the counter. They'd been at it for a while now.

"I don't care what the law says, that fucking thing is a lying bitch and there's no way I'm releasing her." Tex growled back at the clone commander.

While normally people would be intimidated by this, Appo had dealt with Tex enough by now. "We have a law to uphold, sir. We can't just keep people randomly locked up without trial."

Tex sneered. "Watch me."

"Sir, this is not the sort of image you want to have a mayor of Fandom."

"No? And why the hell not?" Tex was perfectly fine with the image she had right now, thank you very much.

"If she really has a soul..." Appo brought in.

Tex groaned and resisted the urge to faceplatecounter. They'd been over this over and over again and she still didn't care whether or not Darla had a soul. Just one swipe of her energy sword...

"We need evidence," Appo insisted, yet again.

"Fine, I'll get you evidence." Tex growled and opened up a transmission to Parker's voicemail.
