[LOCKED / Unhackable]

I'll be sure to keep it in mind.

The tension does make things interesting, doesn't it? I'm curious to see what comes next.

I've heard similar events have happened before. What drives you to know what happens after the tension, Seishirou? The want to see if the scientists came up with something new, or the want to see if they've run out of games to play with us and are merely repeating past tactics?

Both. If they can come up with something new then there's still something about them and this city worth being interested in.

And if they can't then they aren't committed enough to whatever goals they've set for themselves, which means there are more engaging matters to focus on.

What was the event in the past that played out similarly just like now?

Ah, but it's not uncommon to be scared of the unknown, you see.

Correct. But I never completely understood why that is. The unknowns shouldn't be feared, but solved.

Oh, it's probably something to do with the unknown being unpredictable and the unpredictable meaning that one's safety can't be assured. It's not really that complicated~

If that's the logic a person is taking, then their safety is never assured, as all items pose a threat depending on the user. And if the user is as unpredictable, then they're stuck in a paradox of their own working.

No matter what happens, calm or not, this place will always be annoying.

You're right. This place is a cage. It may give us a sense of liberty, but in the end, it's all false.

Liberty doesn't exist in a place like this. Only constant conflict until one is finally allowed to leave.

There is no freedom, no liberty, anywhere you go. Conflict will always exist. Murphy's Law.

Only one place can give me freedom.

That being said, the whole reason we do as we do is a sort of xenphobia. Instead of allowing ourselves to cower, however, we instead strike out against the darkness in search of the truth so that the unknown will be no more.

Sadly, very few are actually qualified to do so properly. Hence my warnings for all of the idiots I know to stay inside.

The fear of the unknown. When is it acceptable to strike out against the darkness? Can you define "properly"?
